WHAT IS IDENTITY COACHING?

Identity Coaching is a blend of coaching, mentoring, discipling, pastoring, inner healing, teaching, and Biblical study. Each session will equip and empower you with practical tools to be able to know, believe, and live the fullness of your true identity.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY IDENTITY COACHING SESSION?  

With the help of a trained Identity Coach, you will take inventory of your heart and find out the truth of your identity, your unhealthy beliefs, how you self-protect, and what God has available for you. You will be equipped with the information necessary to be able to choose the truth of who you were created to be, and empowered to live the fullness of that truth.

This will enable you to find identity, acceptance, understanding, love and purpose.  

Your coach will work to facilitate a time of Hearing and experiencing what the Father, Jesus and  Holy Spirit are wanting to communicate to you about your identity and their thoughts towards you.  Jer 29:11 says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Jesus spoke into Peter’s identity and called him a “rock.”  There may be an additional person in your session when we are training up new leaders.

Sessions are primarily done over video but can be done in person upon request by calling New Creation Church at 801-272-2207.

What goes on in an identity coaching session is private so you can be assured it is a safe and confidential place.  

​

Each session lasts anywhere between one hour to two hours.

WHY WOULD AN IDENTITY COACHING SESSION BE HELPFUL?

 
An Identity Coaching session gives you an opportunity to slow down from the busyness of life and get to know yourself.  

​

When Jesus took time and was being baptized by John the Baptist the Father spoke to His identity and His thoughts towards Him.  Matt 3:16,17 records, “When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

If the Son of God needed to hear HIS IDENTITY affirmed and what God’s thoughts towards him were…how much more do we!!

We need this affirmation because many times lies have been sown in our hearts that shroud the truth of our true Identity in Christ.  

​

During an identity coaching session lies will be exposed and your heart given an opportunity to choose truth which brings the freedom that we are all called to live in.  It’s a time of severing agreements with a false identity and accepting your true identity.

WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM AN IDENTITY COACHING SESSION?

   
Anyone who has questions about why they are stuck in certain areas.

Anyone who wants to go deeper in God and experience the Kingdom of God-righteouness, Peace and JOY…. living in more fruit of the Spirit… love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Finally, anyone wanting to have and enjoy more loving relationships can be helped by a session with one of our coaches.

ARE THERE SPECIAL SESSIONS OFFERED FOR CHILDREN, MARRIAGES, ETC?    

There are options for married couples to receive identity coaching.  Please contact the church for more information at 801-272-2207.

HOW DO I WALK OUT THE FREEDOM THAT I EXPERIENCED IN A SESSION?    
 

We recommend some books by Ray Leight:

Also some books by Dr. Caroline Leaf:

• “Switch on Your Brain”.  

• “The Perfect You”

WHAT IS MY PART IN A SESSION?  

All you have to do in a session is perceive and report.  You are asked questions and you report back what you are experiencing when the questions are asked.  If you are striving or trying to figure it out…qualify it….you’re working too hard!! The Holy Spirit does the heavy lifting.  You get to just relax in Him.

You sign up by following the links on this page.  It will guide you.  We suggest you watch the 4 videos by Bob Hamp on Freedom.

HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION WITH AN NCC IDENTITY COACH COST?

 
There is a suggested donation of $10.  You will have to pay that before proceeding to the calendar to choose a day to schedule your session.  Our coaches spend time in preparation for each session and have undergone and continue to undergo specialized training.  They, however, are not professional counselors so as with all things, please consult your therapist or doctor if you are seeing one and do not quit medications until you have consulted with those professionals.  

HOW ARE CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOWS HANDLED?

 
If you need to cancel, you will need to call the church at 801-272-2207.  If you cancel within 24-hours, you will be refunded your donation.  If you do not show-up for your appointment, there will be no refund.
