At NCC our goal is transformation. The process of becoming Christlike. Part of this process is to discover who we really are. This requires that we allow for lies to be exposed in the light of His truth. We also learn to embraced the truth and experience the power of transformation in our daily lives. We learn to respond to God out of a revelation of who we are uniquely created and redeemed to be.
This process doesn’t happen overnight. Before scheduling an appointment for personal counseling, we encourage people to participate in some activities within the Church community (outlined below).
The pastoral team is available to meet with you one on one but we ask that you first consider getting involved in one or more of the steps below. We believe that you will get more help by attending some of the tracks designed specifically to help in an area that you are feeling challenged. This process will lead to transformation.
These tracks are outlined below:
I. Freedom Ministries We offer a Freedom track that starts with 4 classes on Basic Freedom. These can be attended live at NCC twice a year, or we have a link on our website under Freedom that takes you to the video recorded at Gateway Church. The second step in the Freedom Track is to attend a Kairos event. This 4 hour event is scheduled biannually. The third step is to schedule a personal Sozo. This is done via the website once the Freedom Basics requirement has been completed (video or classes). *We encourage using Dr.Caroline Leaf”s 21 Day Brain Detox. You can access this resource via her website and we offer a class on her materials biannually.
II. Small Groups We provide bimonthly small groups in various locations throughout the valley. These groups cover a multitude of topics and meet every other week.
III. Financial Peace University We offer this course periodically. We endorse this curriculum.
IV. Leadership Training School We provide this resource for foundational training and leadership development.
