COVID-19 AND NCC

This is our position: Jesus is Lord, the Blood didn’t lose its power and the Church is still in charge. Join us in prayer this week as we stand in our authority and continue to acknowledge the goodness and faithfulness of our Father. We will continue in the battle, contending for health and we are seeing it manifest in the name of Jesus!

In John 15 and 16, Jesus begins to talk with the disciples about the promise of his Holy Spirit;

“and I will send you the divine Encourager from the very presence of my Father. He will come to you, the spirit of Truth, emanating from the Father, and he will speak to you about me. And you will tell everyone the truth about me for you have walked with me from the start.“ He then says, “ I have told you this so that you would not surrender to confusion or doubt“.

John 15:26-16:1 TPT.

This phrase jumps out and the Holy Spirit has spoken, saying “DO NOT SURRENDER TO CONFUSION OR DOUBT”! That is the word for our Church right now.

“Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.”

Galatians 6:9

‭‭

Now is the time to be courageous in our trust in the Lord. He is our father and He is working all things together for good. We pray peace, hope and grace over all of you this week as you rest confidently in His love.

We are in a battle. Stay in your position. We can pray continually and keep pressing forward. The following prayer points from Kate Bintliff can serve as our guide (and points of agreement) as we continue on together.

When David went to fight Goliath, he went to the brook and got 5 smooth stones so that he was well equipped for the battle. Here are at least 5 truths that we can all stand in agreement on. We put our focus on what will move us THROUGH this time.

Every name has to bow at the name of Jesus that includes this virus.

For this reason also [because He obeyed and so completely humbled Himself], God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow [in submission], of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess and openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord (sovereign God), to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

We can be at peace because we know God handles our petitions.

Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. Philippians 4:6-7

You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. Isaiah 26:3

God is working purpose and there is still more to be done. This distraction will not knock us off track.

For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

Continue to speak life and truth. What is acknowledged is what will grow.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. Proverbs 18:21

The life of God flows through us... our bodies have to respond to that.

And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you. Romans 8:11

I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 16:19

We all stand in agreement that we do not permit this, we bind it here and there is no sickness in heaven so no matter what it looks like we stand on truth and hold that in the highest place.
